Check out the First Annual Art of Science Competition at Princeton University. There are some amazing photos and computer generated images.

As a father of an artist and a wannabe observer of the arts, I do like this combo of art and science. Now you know that I understand the art of blogging to some degree--that is a post without comments is an unrecognized statement(work of art) and the originator of the post feels underappreciated until there is a post. I have been slow to be the only respondent to each post but can not be quiet. You can almost be assured that there will be a reply.

I personally like the 2nd prize entry, "Driven." It really spoke to me... I think maybe we could expand on some CC art. Maybe posting a positive fern test with some added methylene blue for color??? Ok, so I'm not quite artsy enough to add any flavor to this post. Better leave the art in science thing to the experts.

I wonder if the woman who contributed the fallopian tube picture feels violated? This actually disturbed me.
