Tavern on the Green is no more. I have eaten there 3 times in my life each time was a magical experience.
Now it is a food court!
Sorry I didn't get a vote. NYC will never be the same for us tourists.

The irrational yet irrestible urge to know or make known. The CC is a "club" founded by a small group of medical professionals, who have made a pastime of turning medical cases and discussions into medically irrelevant history lessons, philosophical rants, and displays of one-upsmanship. The official premise, since the "club" was named, has been to exchange and discuss various books, movies, and ideas. Sometimes we eat sushi.

My wife ate there several years ago. She said the food was okay. I have never been to NYC. I read in Wikipedia that the restaurant went bankrupt, but the trademark name 'Tavern on the Green' was appraised at 19 million dollars and was owned by the city of New York rather than the LeRoys who were the last family to operate it.
