Soft Drink Ring

From Joe's recent trip to a medically underserved country - This is a young schizophrenic woman who had placed a "ring" of plastic from a soft drink bottle on her finger and could not remove it. She was a poor historian so he was uanble to determine how long it had been there, but her finger had a foul odor and was infected. The finger was still viable and he removed the ring. Note that the inner portion of the ring is ridged which initially helped make the ring difficult to remove and casued it to dig into the flesh.
