The irrational yet irrestible urge to know or make known. The CC is a "club" founded by a small group of medical professionals, who have made a pastime of turning medical cases and discussions into medically irrelevant history lessons, philosophical rants, and displays of one-upsmanship. Longitude
I am finishing the short book "Longitude" by Dava Sobel and I think you will find it fascinating. It combines history and science and determination. I highly recommend it. She also wrote "Galileo's Daughter" which I have not read but was recommended by the same friend who gave me the 1st book mentioned. I also have lost the web site address that we both frequent so send it to my e-mail please.
Yes, I remember looking at that book; it was pretty new back when I was working at Barnes and Noble. It looks like a good one and I will listen to it at some point, but I hate to use one of my audible.com credits for a $13.00 book. I would rather use them on the $50.00 Murakami books that are so darn good. Anyway are you talking about girlsgonewild.com? Thats not that hard to remember. See you at the big party!
